Biography
The basis of my practice is compassionate and individualized care for each woman throughout her lifetime. I also believe in forming a partnership with each woman and providing education and information, as well as healthcare in a friendly, intimate environment.
What makes Colorado home to you?
I am a Colorado native! Colorado is home to me, my family, and our border terrier named Jake.
What are your passions outside of work?
I enjoy hiking and biking on the trails near our house and skiing in the mountains in winter. But as much as I love Colorado, the mountains and the snow, I also love to travel. I travel abroad whenever I get the chance. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about their cultures and customs. My travels have taken me to Asia, Europe, and both South and Central America, as well as to Cuba. Our most recent trip was to Edinburgh, Scotland where we met up with my stepson and his family from Milan, Italy.
Why did you become an OB/GYN?
It was during my OB/GYN rotation at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, that I decided I wanted to deliver babies, perform surgeries, and provide women’s healthcare for the rest of my life.
What in your career are you most proud?
Having a baby is a very special and intimate process. I enjoy being there for my patients, and I feel honored to be part of the process.
What is the most important part of your job?
In terms of prenatal care, my goal is to be there for my patient from the time she first discovers she is pregnant, throughout her pregnancy, her labor and delivery and beyond.
Are you accepting new patients?
