We Raise The
Standard For Patient Care
What Makes Colorado home to you?
I’m lucky enough to have grown up here in the Denver area, and after living in a number of other places and climates, I’m happy to be back in the place that feels most like home.
What are your passions outside work?
I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, trying new foods, reading a variety of genres, and exploring the beautiful Colorado mountains as a skier and hiker/backpacker.
Why did you become an nurse practioner?
I’ve been drawn to jobs in healthcare since I was pretty young, and becoming an NP appealed to me as a way to provide excellent healthcare with the nursing emphasis on holistic care. I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and to make choices that are best for them.
What in your career are you most proud about?
Creating an environment where patients feel seen, heard, and respected for who they are.
What is the most important part of your job?
Helping people feel that my exam room is a safe place to ask questions and learn about their bodies, and being open to the many things I also learn from my patients.
