The Colorado mindset of being active outdoors year-round.
What are your passions outside of work?
Health and fitness, being active with my kids.
Why did you become an OB/GYN?
I became on OB/GYN to work with women throughout their full life-span. Women’s health care is often neglected in society and it affects more than 50% of the population. I wanted to be able to help women with significant issues that can impact their quality of life.
What in your career are you most proud?
I am lucky that I have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. I don’t underestimate that responsibility.
What is the most important part of your job?
The most important part of my job is listening to patients. They need to be heard and understood before treatment can begin. Creating an atmosphere of partnership is necessary in a doctor/patient relationship.
