Biography
Jen became a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2005. As a Colorado native, Jen received her BA in Biology from the University of Colorado prior to moving to the east coast where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Indian Health Service for several years before returning for her post-Master’s degree in Midwifery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Jen practiced at several hospital based practices in the Denver area before returning to Midwifery at Rose, where she completed a portion of her student training. Her love of Midwifery stems from the continuity of care and the connection made with women and families.
