Examinations typically concentrate on a puberty assessment and preventative checks of the patient’s abdomen, pelvis, breasts, and outer genital area. Our certified doctors understand that there may be apprehension and will proceed respectfully to minimize those feelings. Before the exam, the doctor will communicate with your child about what they are going to do during the exam and will then proceed gently and carefully.
